Co-op News

People posterMore than 70 people from all over Salt Lake Valley participated in the Community Potluck at the First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake City recently. As with all Co-op potlucks, people were asking for the recipes of various dishes. The evening was a collaboration with Slow Food Utah, Local First Utah, P3 Utah, and Sugar House Farmers Market. The Co-op gained a new co-owner, Steve!  Welcome. Glad to have you part of our community!

WCM Yard Sign 18x24 Jan 8Community support is growing at a rapid, heartwarming pace. Thanks to John, Mark, Tessa, and Caroline, the number of Co-op co-owners grew to 527! To celebrate, we are launching a lawn sign campaign. Look for this sign sprouting up around town, throughout the Salt Lake Valley, as well as across Utah. (Our member-owners reside in nine counties, from Logan to Cedar City and Duschesne to Magna.) Then, please consider helping us get to 600 so we can start searching for a location. Check out what it means to be a member-owner.
