Cori’s professional background includes experience in finance working in various roles as well as in public health where she focused on developing and researching community nutrition initiatives and school-based health interventions. She hopes the analytical and project management skills developed through those experiences will support the Co-op’s mission to open here in Salt Lake. Cori was introduced to the concept of a grocery co-op in Austin, TX, where she was a member of the Wheatsville Co-op before moving to Utah. She loved the Co-op’s focus on the local community, the shared values, and the unique shopping experience it provided, and is thrilled about the opportunity to be a part of bringing that experience to the valley. Currently, her two young kids keep her busy at home and she loves engaging in the gardening and local food communities in Salt Lake.
