Member-owner services/website
Leah is an atmospheric scientist specializing in mountain meteorology and renewable energy forecasting. She grew up outside of Seattle and moved to Utah in 2002 — originally for just one ski season. The mountains and the tight-knit Wasatch community proved difficult to leave, and more than twenty years later, she's still here.
Leah brings a scientist's eye for data and systems thinking to the co-op board, and believes that well-functioning local food systems, like good weather forecasts, depend on good information and community trust. She is passionate about equitable access to healthy, local food and thrilled to be part of bringing Wasatch Food Co-op to life.
