Jacob Warner

Jake is a grocery industry veteran with 15 years of experience leading teams, opening stores, and managing nationwide inventory planning across multiple retailers. Deeply committed to sustainable food systems, he has served as a board member for Buy Extension, an Idaho based non-profit connecting local producers to regional markets. Since joining the Wasatch Food Co-op, Jake has worked with the Board Hiring Committee to shape the hiring process and criteria for the General Manager position. Residents of the Liberty Park area, Jake, his wife Dev, and their dog Suki love exploring Salt Lake City's food scene, climbing, and biking. Jake is excited to apply his professional expertise to ensure the Co-op is both financially resilient and a welcoming, inclusive space for the entire community.
