What We Sell
Wasatch Food Co-op is a full-service grocery store. We are committed to sourcing a minimum of 20% of our inventory from local producers, farmers, and ranchers.
We are also committed to environmental sustainability in the way our products are grown and produced, how they are packaged, and how we operate.
First and foremost, we want to sell things that our members want to see in their grocery store. If you have a vendor that you would like to find in the co-op, please fill out our member-owner vendor suggestion form.
Our Departments
01. Bulk
The Wasatch Food Co-op will honor the legacy of Hello!Bulk, Salt Lake City's trailblazing bulk business. Our bulk department has dry bulk foods, household goods like liquid soap, as well as fresh coffee, honey, and nut butters you can grind yourself. Unlike in most other bulk departments in the area, customers are able to bring their own containers.
The bulk department features vendors like Hollow Tree Honey, Equal Exchange and Sunridge Farms.
02. PRODUCE
WFC puts a heavy emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce. We strive to source vegetables and fruit from as many farms in the Wasatch Front, in the state of Utah, or in the wider region as possible.
Our growing vendor list currently features local businesses like Mycel Mushrooms, Urban Pepper Project, Frog Bench Farms, Charlie's Produce, Marmalade Orchard and Farm, First Frost Farm, Keep It Real, BUG Farms and Future Craft Farm.
03. GROCERY
In addition to local produce and waste-free bulk, the co-op has all items you'd expect to find from a regular grocery store. As always, emphasis is on sourcing local when possible, but we will make sure all of your essentials are available even if no-one produces them locally.
Current vendors you can find in our grocery aisles: Salsa Del Diablo, The Salted Roots, Parea, Raw Eddy's, Prickly Pear Adventure's, Cache Canning, Go Max Go, Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade, Moon Butter, Argentina's Best Empanadas
04. MEAT & SEAFOOD
Utah has a rich history of ranching and animal agriculture that we strive to honor with
the offerings at our store.
We currently offer products from local companies like Frisky Fresh Fish SLC. More details on specific vendors to follow.
05. DAIRY
WFC has a robust selection of both dairy and non-dairy products.
We are proud to carry products from local vendors like Mountain Born Creamery, Beehive Cheese and Monkey Wrench Ice Cream.
06. WELLNESS
Expect to find a mighty selection of skincare products, vitamins and supplements, and health oriented offerings.
Our wellness department carries vendors like Ruby & Sage Apothecary, SuperBloom, Apiana Blooms and Pantry Products.
