Heleene Tambet

Heleene is an applied economist at the International Food Policy Research Institute. She primarily uses farmer survey data to answer a diverse set of questions around the food systems, agriculture, and climate change, and is passionate about measurement of social and environmental sustainability. A recent Salt Lake transplant, Heleene is a native of Estonia but has lived in many places in the US, most recently residing in a mountain town of Washington state. Past board service includes Cascade Community Markets (WA).
