Michelle E. Czarka

Originally from the Detroit area, Michelle answered the call of the mountains nearly two decades ago. She spent 15 years in the Reno/Tahoe area before settling in Salt Lake City, where she now lives with her wife, young daughter, and two dogs. Alongside a long career in marketing (including, fittingly for a Detroiter, the automotive sector), she has always been passionate about building community and supporting local initiatives.

In 2015, she founded Pantry Products, a small-batch wellness company with shops in SLC and Reno where she and her team handcraft natural, low-waste self-care essentials. Pantry’s mission is to make sustainable self-care accessible while reducing the environmental impact of everyday routines.

Michelle is the current chair of the Outreach Committee. As a Board Member, Michelle channels her commitment to sustainability, community, and local economies into the Co-op, believing that when neighbors support neighbors, everyone thrives.
