Mikre-ab Abera

HIRING

Mikre-Ab, born in Ethiopia and raised in DC, has been in Salt Lake since November of 2022. He became interested in food systems after reading The Omnivore's Dilemma and participating in an event with Farm 2 Crag, an organization dedicated to bringing together outdoor enthusiasts with farmers and producers. His work for the co-op involves outreach, policy, and he’s currently Chair of our Hiring Committee. Mikre-Ab graduated from the George Washington University and currently works as a market researcher studying consumer behavior.
