We Need YOU to Open Our Doors

Updated: Dec 3, 2024

We are so close to opening Salt Lake City’s only community-owned grocery store. This year we have:

  • Secured our dream location in the Milk Block on 900 South

  • Gained over 100 new members

  • Raised almost $500,000 dollars

However, we do not yet have enough funding to meet our lease requirements and complete construction. We must raise $500,000.00 by December 31 to be able to open our doors in 2025. If you have been considering joining or donating, now is the time.

Because we did not meet our Capital Campaign goal in November, we have extended our fundraising campaign. Member-owners still have the opportunity to purchase preferred shares in the Co-op through the end of the year. Read more about how you can acquire shares as a long-term investment with dividends. Plus, explore other ways to contribute to the Co-op below.

To those who have already contributed – THANK YOU! Your contributions have been critical in getting us where we are.

We are grateful for each of you and the community we’re building together. With your support, we can complete this critical fundraising milestone and can celebrate the store opening together in 2025!
